One of the highlights of my most recent trip home to Slovakia was this performance at Woodstock in Prievidza, one of the city's most respected live music venues and a place I always love playing when I'm back.
This particular night featured a collaboration between The Sound Spectrum Group and vocalist Lenka Piesova, an incredibly versatile singer who brought something special to the set. We covered a lot of ground stylistically, moving through R&B, reggae, funk, disco, and jazz over the course of the evening. The kind of set that keeps both the musicians and the audience on their toes.
